PS/2 to USB Keyboard and mouse adapter-Reuse your old Keyboard and Mouse on your new Computer!

Sometimes switching to a new keyboard and mouse can feel weird especially if you have been using the same keyboard and mouse for years like me. I have been using the same keyboard and mouse for over 3 years. Luckily, my computer also have PS/2 ports for my computer mouse and keyboards, but if your computer or laptop does not have PS/2 ports on the back you need a Adesso PS/2 to USB Adapter if your old keyboard and mouse still uses PS/2 plugs which are usually round, and colored purple for the keyboard, and green for the mouse.

However, my laptop and many newer computer do not have PS/2 ports on the back of the computer. This usually means I have to buy a USB keyboard and mouse which can cost up to 40 dollars or more in some cases.

Plus, getting used to your new costly keyboard and mouse can be difficult especially if you been using the same keyboard or mouse for multiple years.

An Adesso PS/2 to USB Adapter which is a cable which can convert your Mouse and Keyboard plug to USB for use on a newer laptop or computer without PS/2 Mouse and Keyboard ports is the cheapest option for most people since the adapter cost under 12 dollars at Amazon which is a lot cheaper and hassle free compared to learning a new keyboard and mouse which you payed 40 dollars or more.

Another good reason to use this adapter is it only use 1 USB port, so you will have an extra unused USB port if you are using both a PS/2 mouse and keyboard.

Adesso PS/2 to USB Adapter also comes with a 1 year warranty according to the Amazon product listing page.

Most importantly, you will be reusing your old keyboard and mouse on your new computer, so you'll be helping out the environment by not throwing them out or wasting gas driving to the computer recyclers because you are using them on your new computer because of this adapter. You can also use the adapter over and over again on inexpensive PS/2 keyboards and mouse which you can get from eBay, Craigslist, thrift store, and second hand store for a few dollars or less instead of buying more expensive USB keyboards and mice.
